Ah. Obviously, you are ignorant of what I wish to accomplish. You should be against me, as my plan is in conflict with your precious master's plan.

"Stupid move." As soon as Nyx's revovler moves Gale fires and teleports to somewhere else in his castle.

A spray of red mist shoots out of Nyx's right shoulder as he turns back around. He grimaces and grabs the wound with his left hand. "Agh, bastard..."

Nyx acknowledges Chaos' response, but doesn't turn around. "Pft, Rand can go to hell for all I care. I've told you before, I'm just in it for the pay."

Riki watches with keen attention, playing her hand along Bliss's blade. Her eyes narrow at Nyx's last comment to Chaos. "For the pay?"

The hole in Nyx's shoulder slowly closes and he regains his composure. "Money, weapons, land. It's how he keeps his only successful creation on his side."

"..money. Land." Her face darkens and she laspes into thought.

"Enough with the dramatics." Nyx aims his revolver in a flash and lets off three rounds in rapid succession, creating the illusion of one prolonged shot.

Rikali ducks quickly. As the first shot burrows into the tree above her, she sits back up and the second and third bullet hit her cheeck and shatter her jawbone. She draws her breath in a hiss, stars exploding in front of her eyes.

"Destroy the weeds while they're still small..." A metallic swish fills the relative silence and a blade shines into view, held by Nyx's free hand. He approaches Riki slowly.

She ignores him, holding her hand to her bloody face. Soft curses are heard as she digs the bullets out.

Fury Two stops in front of Riki, pauses, and swings the sword into the air a foot in front of his target's face.

With her other hand, she pulls Bliss up to deflect Nyx's swing. Pulling herself to her feet, she tries to wipe the blood off of her once last time and slides to the side of the tree, untrapping herself. Gripping the ax in both hands, Riki readies herself.

A lightning bolt smashes into and illuminates an invisible sphere floating in the air where Nyx swung. The foot-wide sphere crackles and sparks with the absorbed bolt, then explodes in a blast of black light, and expands into a five-foot wide void, devoid of any light at all.

"I hope that he's giving it all now." Riki explodes into her true form. Bliss starts to radiate a blue aura. Calmly closing her eyes, she holds Bliss in front of her so the blade points away. "Asth ush/tuayh." Bliss's aura collects at the blade then streaks out, cutting through Nyx's void.

Gale sits on a tower overlooking Riki and Nyx. He turns Sin into a gun and it glows. "Two birds with one stone."

Riki lowers her blade, glaring at Nyx, when she cries out in pain and surprise, falling sideways and catching herself in time to land on her knees. Her shirt is becoming red quickly, as are her hands, wrapped around her side. Riki lifts her head to try and figure out where that blow came from.

The rift wavers and crackles, split in two by Riki axe. Just as the two halves begin to pull away from each other, Gale's shot slips between them and into Nyx's chest, jolting him back a foot.

Gale continuous to fire. Switching off between the two.

Rikali hisses in pain, unwilling to stand the rain of bullets. Scrambling to her feet, she makes for the realtive cover of the trees.

Sin glows and Gale fires at the tree. It connects and explodes with the force of an RPG. He then turns to Nyx and fires a similliar blast.

Riki's cloak protects her from most of the enferno. She leaps away from the tree, batting at herself with black and charred hands, crying in pain. The girl scans the castle, catching site of Gale.

Riki grips her burnt hands around the red-hot Bliss, tightening her jaw against the onslaught of pain. Moving as swift as her battered body will allow, she enters the castle.

"How foolish. She can't navigate the castle fast enough to make it here." Gale jumps from one tower to the other.

Riki walks up a corridor, kicking open every door and setting its contents to flame. "Play with fire, get yourself burned, Gale."

Gale sees flames burst out of a window and frowns. He aims at part of his own castle and fires, causing part of it to explode.

Riki was far from the explosion, setting flame to a tower. She leaps up through the roof, landing neatly and doubling over from the pain.

Below Gale, on the roof, an assault rifle loads the first round into it's chamber, producing a distinct click.

A red dot at the end of a wire-thin glowing line trails up the tower and onto Gale.

Gale sees Riki and aims. "Annoyance." He fires a blast directly at Riki, failling to notice the dot on him.

A soft thunk echoes off the castle's towers and a stream of smoke explodes out toward's Gale's perch.

Blood sprays from Gale's chest and a shocked look forms on his face as he falls from his perch.

The round continues through Gale and punches into a wall on the tower behind Gale. After a short pause the tower explodes into a cloud of black smoke and gray dust that hangs in the air as debris rains all around it. The top of the structure slowly begins to sink into the cloud with the sound of crunching concrete.

The shot pings off the roof in front of Riki. Looking up in surprise, she sees Gale fall and the tower explode. Realizing that this is not a good place to be, she exits the tower and heads back down to the grounds, still setting fires as she does.

The gunner walks up to Gale and looks down. "Nyx? Or Gale?"

Gale coughs up blood. "..G..Gale.."

"Hmph." The man lowers his assault rifle without hesistance, but pauses on the trigger. "I'll let you die here, slowly. I won't even be giving Nyx that honor."
